Simultaneous uses the Unity3D engine and two additional people were involved in the project:

The game was coded for the Interaktionsmethoden und -geräte (Interaction Methods and Devices) lecture at the Technical University of Munich. It was designed specifically for a self-build controller. To be able to play it on other devices, we additionally programmed an interface for keyboard input.

We were inspired by IcyLime's brilliant idea to combine 4 small games into one: Multitask. Those four games were tailored for the input methods of the controller. In game one you have to balance a ball with the built in position sensors. In game two you evade incoming objects by positioning you parts with two sliders. The third game is all about pressing the correct button in time. Finally you have to collect squares with two rotator in the last game. The difficulty lies in the simultaneous execution of all four tasks.

Your character level is represented by a small companion cube in the main menu screen. The cube grows and changes its color according to your progress. The cube also comes with several activities and emotions which can trigger randomly. Simultaneous features both LAN and online multi-player: In a direct face-off you try to survive longer than your opponent. Your cube gains experience accordingly to your performance!
